Annette Waligora is an award winning updo artist. She graduated Capri Cosmetology school in IL and has her Cosmetology license since 2001 . She competed in the Capri Oak Forest Artistic Competition in 2000 and one 1st place. From there she competed in the I.A.C. S. state updo competition and won 2nd place. Interned at Charles Ifergan in downtown Chicago and worked at a salon in the suburbs. She continued her education at Vidal Sassoon Academy in LA and decided to become a freelance artist do to her family life. She travels the world and gets inspired by the different looks all around the globe. She can work with extensions (can only put in clip in extensions) but can work with all extensions in her styles, she is an updo artist, does phenomenal voluminous blowdrys, and creates gorgeous hair styles and much more…

Monika Walas is a freelance makeup artist that has been working with Annette for years. She has traveled the world, studied abroad on several occasions, and in doing so, concurrently studied makeup looks that compliment each individual. She is great with bridal, formal events, makeovers and magazine. Her ability to study each person’s facial individuality and in turn apply makeup in a way that illuminates and highlights that person’s beauty is unsurpassed. She views each client as a blank canvas, each with a different facial strongpoint, ready to be personified into an extraordinary work of art.

The cultural and creative knowledge that both artists share give them an artistic edge that is unparalleled and hard to come by in today’s hair and makeup artist arena. Depending on your bridal party, formal event, commercial, or magazine spread Annette and Monika also work with other stylists and makeup artists to accommodate the size of your party. They work with an amazing nail tech that travels with them, need be, to work with nails, gels, pedicures, any type of fixes that you have the day of your event. She also has a list of vendors that she recommends for bridal events that she has worked with that are unparalleled in their fields of expertise!
